Overview
OSINTverse ("we", "us") operates osintverse.com and related services. This policy explains what we collect when you create an account and how we use your information.
Account information
When you sign in with a magic link, we collect your email address and basic profile details needed to operate your account (such as your display name and usage timestamps).
Searches and cases
When you run a lookup, we store the query you entered (for example an email address, username, phone number, domain, or image), the provider you chose, the price, and the results the provider returned, so you can reopen them in your search history and in cases. Notes, flags, and titles you add to cases are stored with them. We use this data to deliver results to you, bill the lookup, handle refunds and support requests, and prevent abuse.
To run a lookup, we send the query to the third-party provider you selected (each provider is named on its page and at checkout). That provider processes it under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not sell your queries or results.
AI agents and API keys
You can connect AI assistants (for example Claude or ChatGPT) to OSINTverse through our MCP server, by signing in with OAuth or with an API key. For each connection we store the app's identifier, the permissions and spending limits you approved, and the access and refresh tokens it uses. For each tool call we keep an audit record of the tool name, outcome, cost, and time. We never write the arguments or query text of a tool call to that record, to server logs, or to analytics.
We only receive what the assistant sends in a tool call. We do not read your conversations, chat history, memory, or files in the assistant. Sandbox searches and cases made by a connection in sandbox mode are deleted after 7 days. You can revoke a connection at any time in Dashboard → API keys → Agents, which deletes its grant, refresh token, and settings.
Service providers
We share data with companies that help us run the service, only as needed for their part of it: the OSINT providers you choose for each lookup, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Featurebase for the help center and support messenger, PostHog for analytics and session replay (only if you accept them), and our hosting and database providers. We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account, search history, and cases while your account is open. You can delete individual searches from your history. When you delete your account, it stays recoverable for 7 days by signing in, and is then permanently deleted with the data linked to it. We may keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Newsletter and marketing
By creating an OSINTverse account, you agree that we may email you a short product-education sequence about SearchIn, Cases, GraphIn, and billing. You can unsubscribe from those emails at any time using the link in the message.
The Hub at hub.osintverse.com is a separate publication. Creating an account does not subscribe you to it. You can read or subscribe there on your own.
We may also send product announcements and related updates. You can unsubscribe from those emails using the link in the message or by contacting us.
Service emails
We may still send transactional messages that are required to operate your account, such as sign-in links and security notices, even if you opt out of marketing emails.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage to run the site. Strictly necessary cookies (for example sign-in) do not need extra consent. Analytics and session replay run only if you accept them. Details, a list of cookies, and your choices are in our Cookie Policy.
