Newsletters

Newsletters worth opening, and the ones to skip

A newsletter costs minutes a week and nothing else, which is exactly why inboxes fill with ones nobody reads. These entries say what an issue actually contains, how often it arrives, and whether it is still alive.

Before you choose

Subscribe to two, not twelve

  1. 01

One methods letter, one investigations letter

Methods letters keep your toolkit current. Investigation outlets show you how finished work looks. You need one of each, not six of one.

  2. 02

    Check the last issue date

Plenty of lists still recommend newsletters that stopped in 2022. Each entry here says when the latest issue appeared.

  3. 03

Unsubscribe after a month of not opening it

A newsletter you skip is noise that hides the one you read. The entries are written so you can re-subscribe later without hunting.

Every newsletter at a glance

Cost is a model, not a price. Time is the commitment before it pays off. Updated is the latest edition or issue we could verify.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Which OSINT newsletter should I read first?

A weekly methods roundup, read for a month. Add an investigations letter when you want to study how finished work looks. Add cyber news only if your job needs it.

Is the OSINTverse Hub listed here?

Yes, last and labeled. It is our own publication, and the point of this page is the rest of the field.

Do you track which newsletters I click?

We count outbound clicks per entry so we know which listings help. We never see what you subscribe to.

Learned the method? Practise it on real data

The resources above teach the craft. When you want to run real lookups across breach, people, domain, and crypto sources without opening a dozen vendor accounts, that is what SearchIn is for.
